What an incredible moment as our athletes marched in for the opening ceremony for #Tokyo2020, led by our first indigenous flag-bearer Patrick Mills and swim star Cate Campbell. It has been a long journey for our athletes as they have aimed to fulfil their Olympic dreams. Thank you to the people of Japan for making this moment possible in a difficult time.

The long awaited journey to Tokyo 2020 is finally over for 200 Aussie athletes and officials who boarded a Qantas charter flight from Cairns to Japan to kick start their Olympic campaign.
